Day Two. Little Cayman Paradise

This is our lunch server - you should see him carry a loaded tray! Actually, he just wandered in while we were eating.  There are several iguanas here on the island.  The original iguana here on Little Cayman, or the native iguana, is protected.  However, somehow other iguanas have made it here - long swim! - and they have become pests so they have to be disposed of just like other pests.  There are several that have numbers painted on them, but we haven't seen them this trip yet.  Still, they are rather cute ugly creatures, eh?
and then there is this guy.  cute and adorable, even when he hasn't showered in 4 days and has such magnificent hair!  forever babe.  forever.

here is a little snippet of the cute laboriously shuffling iguana
here he is later.  because I tried to catch him earlier (actually I just had fun chasing him.  He's too scary to think about catching!) he was a bit wary of me as we walked by.
Howie has found the hardware store - located adjacent to the grocery store here in "town."  They have fish hooks - but not Grand Slam Bucktails!  He should open the market here and then we could come lots on "business trips!"
and this is the rest of the hardware / everything household store...
just turn around and walk into the grocery store!
any guesses how much the apples cost? better yet, our grocery bill in CI? guess!
Sunset from the bird sanctuary observation deck down the road from Paradise Villas
 more sunset.  so happy.
a bat house.  standing up in the middle of town! how cool is that?

We went diving today.  The first dive was called Cumberland Cave but the cave was still full of sand because the weather has been so windy this last month so we were unable to pass through it or any surrounding tunnels.  It was a deep dive and we saw lobster, barracuda, file fish, trunk fish, ray, garden eels, and lots of other colorful fish.  The second dive was a shallow dive and we saw a HUGE barracuda hanging out under the boat as well as amazing coral and tons of fish.  We love diving here!

Tomorrow - more of the same.  Paradise.
